Research that offers answers and hope, information about your community, free wigs and prostheses, food supplements, Hope Lodge, mileage reimbursement, free air transportation (restrictions apply), community resource database, helping cancer patients through legislation, a newsletter to keep you informed about legislation affecting cancer and cancer patients (ACS Action), mobile classroom website (www.mobileclassroom.org), free educational materials for youth, camps for children with cancer (Camp Hope). These services are available to anyone anywhere! Beyond above services offered in Harvey County: Reach to Recovery (a breast cancer survivor visits a newly diagnosed breast cancer patient to support her through this journey) and Look Good Feel Better group sessions (women going through treatment are taught by trained cosmetologists). |
